Love seeing your plants! While I enjoy houseplants, I am woefully neglectful of them. Thankfully That Husband o’ Mine enjoys them even more than I do and he has a green thumb touch. When the pandemic happened and he came home to work, he made tending the plants his hobby and our collection of two houseplants grew into a jungle—which we both love. He tends, we both love!
Your collection is lovely! I, however, don’t do particularly well with houseplants and if I’m honest, prefer cut flowers. I do, however, make great mashed potatoes!
I just counted and I have 43 houseplants! Half of them I take out for the summer and then bring them in again for the winter. Not only do I love looking at them, but I have heard that they are very good at keeping your immune system healthy. My husband and I have never gotten Covid and are seldom sick at all which I attribute in part to my plants!
I love houseplants! I have a garden window in my kitchen filled with them, I have hangers across my four livingroom windows with plants and I have a tiny half bath that is also filled with plants. Sometimes as they keep making more plants, I get overwhelmed. But luckily three out of my five children are also plant hoarders....I mean, lovers! One of the three will always take a plant on.
After a lengthy bout of caregiving for my elderly parents, I couldn't nurture one more thing--including houseplants. So I don't have any. But I love the idea of your outdoor shower. Sounds divine!
I’m obsessed with my plant-children. Have you checked out the YouTube series Garden Answer? That is really fueling my passion for gardening in general.
My husband hates houseplants. I love them. But I have a tendency to forget to tend to them. So when a neighbor offered us a snake plant cutting, I took it, thinking I could plant outside. Nope. They're indoor plants. And my bamboo had to come in for the winter too. My lemon tree was planted in the front yard so hopefully, it will come back this spring. And we lost a fig tree that I assumed was an outdoor plant here. It wasn't. Your window is pretty.

How lovely that he grew a jungle for you both to enjoy!
I am a huge houseplant person--our place is bursting with them. They make me happy and fill the space with beauty.
I am a Plant Maniac as well… never too many! ♥️🪴🌱🌿♥️
I enjoyed your blog. It's so nice to read about plants.

😍 Cut flowers are great, too.

That’s a pretty healthy number of plants. Maybe that is why you have never had COVID.

I completely understand. Sometimes, it’s enough to look after yourself.
So true.

Ooh, I haven’t. Thanks for the tip.

I love figs and lemons both. Hope to have better luck with them here.
