I recently began attending Zen practices because the location (2 hours from me) now offers it weekly on Zoom. Tai Chi Qigong sounds as if it would complement what I am learning. I'm so glad it is helping you in all ways.

Zoom is such a godsend for things like this. Let me know if you try qigong.

I was introduced to Qi Gong years ago at a Julia Cameron retreat, but I dropped it. Then, in the early days of the pandemic, I found the Qi Gong videos from Lee Holden and did them faithfully for quite some time. But once again I wandered away. You article has re-inspired me.

I haven't seen those videos, but now want to look them up. Glad to re-inspire! Let me know if you get back to it.

This is so timely! I’ve been doing a bit of tai chi for the last few months, a free weekly class offered by our local international women’s group here, and enjoying it, but not exactly progressing. But then… I’ve just come back from a music festival on Ibiza, and one of the activities was a daily tai chi session with a fantastic instructor, and I learned so much! Not just the forms, but about chi, and the strength of not resisting, and meditation through movement, and so much more. I’ve come home determined to find a great instructor here, because I loved it so much. I’m glad you’re back to your practice - I remember how much you used to love it.

I love that you had such a great experience at the festival. I feel like I'm in a different place, and the ideas and lessons are landing in new ways. I hope you find that new teacher!
